Self Guided Cycling Tours in The Lot Valley and Canal
The Lot Valley and the The Lot Valley and Canal guided tours are available for the self-guided option. We include route notes and maps and regional information highlighting the most popular attractions. It also includes transportation to and from Caday Rouge whilst on the daily one-way cycle rides.
For your one overnight stay away from Caday Rouge, you will be required to take your own necessary luggage and personal belongings with you. The support vehicle will be on hand in case of any incidents but will not be available to transport your personal belongings to the hotel. If you require the support vehicle to accompany you and carry your luggage, there will be a varying supplementary charge depending on the size of your group.
The tour itinerary is the same as for the guided tours and includes 7 nights bed and breakfast accommodation with a welcome and farewell dinner.
Our flexible self-guided tours start on any day and date between March and November, please enquire for details.
Our very competitive prices are based on a double room with a double bed (twin beds may be available) for 7 nights accommodation including breakfast, welcome and farewell meals.
Once a booking is made we require a 30% deposit and the remainder within 90 days of your tour.
If for some reason you cancel your booking we will make every effort to get another booking to replace you and refund all of your money.​​

Bike Hire Prices

Caday Rouge offers a range of hybrid bikes, a cross between a mountain bike and a road bike from manufacturers such as Giant and Trek. They are all of good quality and serviced regularly for your safety and comfort. They are the perfect choice for the routes that we cover on our tours and suitable for light gravel and tarmac roads. Please note these are not mountain bikes. A security damage deposit of €200 per bike is required.
