Check In Questions

What time is check in?

Any time between 3pm and 8pm. This is because unlike a hotel we don't have 24 hour check in or a night porter. We do everything ourselves so the hours between 10am & 4pm are when we are cleaning rooms and running around.

Can I check in earlier?

Please ask us in advance if you would like to arrive earlier. If your room is not ready you are welcome to leave your bags with us while you explore the area or sit by the pool. Please understand that we may be very busy preparing rooms as quickly as possible and checking guests out. 

Can I check in later?

Of course this is possible, just please call us and give us an idea of when you estimated time of arrival is.

What time is check out?

Before 10am on the day of departure.

Can I check out later?

There is a late check out service available for a surcharge of £15.00 which allows you to check out at 12 o’clock. If you would like this service please tell us in advance.

General Questions

Are you disability friendly?

I'm afraid that none of our rooms are suitable for wheelchair access as they are all on the 1st floors of our buildings.

Do you have a hairdryer?

Each room contains a hairdryer.

Can I bring a pet?

We love pets but sadly we found that not everyone feels the same. Regrettably we do not take pets. Registered guide/aid dogs are permitted in any room free of charge.

Do you have pets?

Yes we do. We have a lovely ginger tom called Higgins. You will see him patrolling the grounds or asleep somewhere!

Do you accept children?

Children are welcome at Caday Rouge.  For children under 2 years old, parents must be happy for children to occupy their own room. 

Can we book a parking space?

We have ample free parking around the house, cottage and barn. You won't have to take more than a few steps with your suitcases.

Access to free on-site parking?

We are very lucky. We have two ways to access our on site car parking for cars to come and go at leisure.  The most popular way is to come in through the main gate or you can pass the main gate and take the next right turn and enter via the rear gate.

Do either of the properties have a bath?

There is a bath in the upstairs bathroom of the cottage.  There are no baths in any of the bathrooms in the Farmhouse.

Do you have twin rooms?

One of the rooms in the Cottage and one of the rooms in the Farmhouse can be adapted to twin beds at your request.

Can we cancel and get our deposit back?

At time of booking you will have been made aware that deposits are non refundable and that there are no exceptions.

Can we drink the water?

We provide a bottle of free water in your room at room temperature and you can buy further bottles of water from our Euro Bar.

Do we get a key?

Yes. All the B&B rooms are lockable and you have your own bedroom key.

Breakfast Questions

What time is breakfast?

Breakfast is served between 8.15am and 10am. Once your order is made you are welcome to sit and enjoy your meal for as long as you like. 

Can I have an earlier breakfast?

Yes we can offer you our ‘Early Bird, breakfast picnic. There is no extra cost for this service just arrange at time of booking or 24 hours in advance. 

Can I have a late breakfast?

Yes of course. We can offer you the ‘Idle Bird' breakfast picnic. There is no extra cost for this service just arrange at time of booking or 24 hours in advance. This service is not available on the day of your departure unless you have agreed a late check out in advance. The cost of late check out is £15.00 per room.
